Third Text welcomes original contributions from writers from all cultural and practice backgrounds. We are also pleased to accept submissions of articles, reviews and interviews for publication on Third Text Online.
Articles should be in the region of 5,000 words – up to a ceiling of 6,000.
Review essays should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
Articles are peer-reviewed before being accepted for publication. They will be edited in accordance with Third Text house style and you will receive a proof of your article before it is published.
All submissions should be made online at the Third Text Editorial Manager website. New users should first create an account. Once logged on to the site, submissions should be made via the Author Main Menu. Manuscripts may be submitted in any standard format.

Your submission should contain your full postal address, telephone numbers, a fifty-word biographical note and 150-word abstract of your article with ten keywords for online searches. It is helpful to supply specific names (artists, authors etc) as keywords as well as broader terms applicable to your field.
You can submit up to ten images with your article from which we will make a selection (we generally publish between three and six).
Images should be submitted as jpegs, with a resolution of around 400 dpi when the width is 200 mm. You must supply written permission to reproduce images from the copyright holder – this can take the form of an email. In most cases we cannot publish without it, even if you have found the image to be available online.
