Sanford Lieberson began as a film agent representing such clients as Sergio Leone, Peter Sellers and The Rolling Stones. He formed a production company, Goodtime Enterprises, with David Puttnam and Visual Programme Systems to produce, acquire and consult in the home video area for CBS, Phillips, Time Life. He joined Twentieth Century Fox as Vice-President and later President of international productions which included Star Wars, Bertolucci’s 1900, Chariots of Fire and many other films, and was also executive producer for Goldcrest, Metro Goldwyn Mayer and independent films. He has designed producers’ courses for The National Film and Television School, London, the Escuela Internacional de Cinema y Televisión, Havana, and is currently advisor and tutor for North By Northwest, The Media Programme for screenwriters in Denmark.
